Calculating air travel distances

Use the table below to add up the total number of kilometres travelled.
• Distances displayed are one-way.
• Multiply by two for return journey.
• And multiply by number of persons.
• Example: if two people fly Melbourne–Sydney return, then:
Total kilometres are: 710 km X 2 people X 2 (for return journey) = 2880 kms.
      Note that distances are point to point or with direct stop-over (e.g. via Asia to Europe). Distances may be greater if non-direct route is used; for example if Adelaide-Brisbane is via Sydney rather than direct.
